Merry Christmas everyone! It was only right that I post a Christmassy video today. I answered the questions from the Christmas tag so check it out below!
This video should've been up yesterday but I was so busy doing some last minute things before flying to LA and, unfortunately, I just didn't have the time. Now I'm already in LA, so you guys can expect some vlogs! I also pre-recorded some videos to upload while I'm away. Now, on to today's video! I was so happy my December Boxycharm arrived before I left New York for the holidays. Check out the video below to see what I got!
This is my first ever lookbook video and I am so excited about it! Styling is one of the things I really, really love and it's the whole reason I even started my blog. I've wanted to do style videos for a long time but it just never happened because I don't really have anyone to film them for me. I actually still don't but while I was away for Thanksgiving, I just decided to give it a try with my boyfriend behind the camera. He's the one who takes my pictures but he doesn't really know anything about photography or filming. I bascially set everything up, explain what he has to do, and then edit everything myself. Is it tiring? A bit. But if that's what I have to do to make it happen, then I'll do it. So, that's bascially what I did with this video too. I know it's not perfect but for my first lookbook, I'm pretty happy with it. I hope you guys also enjoy it. Let me know your thoughts in the comments!
Who else did some Black Friday shopping? I didn't buy too much but I did get a few things that I've been meaning to get anyway. In today's video I'm sharing all of my purchases, plus some more stuff I got during the month. Luckily, a lot of the deals I got are still available online, so I'll link everything below!
With all the holiday shopping, black friday shopping, blogger mail, and just shopping for no reason, I had a lot of stuff to share with you guys this month. So, today I'm sharing only the beauty products. My haul with everything else will be up on Sunday. Even though I split up the products, the video is still pretty long, so grab a snack, sit back, and enjoy!
Another month has flown by and it's time to share everything I was loving! So, let's get into it and don't forget that I'll have the links to everything mentioned below.
I think it's becoming a tradition for my family and I to get away from the city for Thanksgiving and just enjoy each other's company for a few days in what seems like the middle of nowhere. It's so nice to just disconnect from the outside world a bit (My phone rarely had service!). This Thanksgiving, we went to Poconos and, of course, I just had to film a bit for you guys and also for myself. I love documenting things like this and being able to look back on it later. Also, I tried my hardest to get the quality to be better than my previous vlogs but, unfortunately, I failed. I filmed some stuff on my DSLR but it was just too heavy and I struggled with the focus because of the constant movement. So, obviously I resorted to my iPhone, which can be great outdoors with tons of light but gets very grainy whenever it gets a bit dark. However, this is hopefully the last time I'll have to deal with this. I'm getting a vlogging camera, so you guys can expect a lot of new vlogs this coming year!
Today I'm unboxing my November Boxycharm box and showing you guys what I got! I also reviewed the products from last month's box at the end of the video and I'll have all the products (from both months) listed and linked below. Enjoy!
Hi everyone! You might have noticed that I disappeared from the blog a bit this week and that's because I got the flu and was in bed and miserable. However, I'm finally starting to feel better, so I was able to edit this video that I filmed right when I started feeling sick. Anyway, I'm so excited to have a DIY for you guys because it's been so long since I've done one. I've been trying to figure out how to store my sunglasses in a pretty way and I finally did it and wanted to share it with you guys! I love how it turned out and how practical yet adorable it is. I'll leave links below to products that I either used or think would be good alternatives.
Hi everyone! Although I wear "Fall" lip colors all year round, I definitely use them even more once the sesaons start getting colder. So, I thought I would share my favorites with you. These are my top colors that I just wear non-stop around this time. I just showed the colors and didn't actually talk about the brands and formulas, but they're all great, in my opinion. If I didn't think so, I obviously wouldn't wear them all the time. Keep in mind that colors look a bit lighter under studio lights, so under regular lighting the colors are a little darker. I hope you guys enjoy the video!
Time to share everything I was loving during October. There weren't many things but they're things I used a whole lot! Also, you might find it weird that I'm posting this video on a Thursday but I'm excited to annouce that this month I'm posting videos twice a week. This is something I've been wanting to do, so I thought I would try it out this month and see how it goes. If I feel like I can keep it up, then I will continue to post on Sundays and Thursdays from now on!
October's haul is a long one because it also includes birthday gifts! I shared presents received (that weren't money or gift cards), blogger mail, and some shopping of my own. So, grab a snack and come check out all this amazing stuff!
Today's video is super different! I invited my cousin Vanessa to come do some special fx makeup on me and she was inspired by Little Red Riding Hood. I absolutely love how this turned out! If you want to see her create this look on me, then just check out the video below!
We have finally reached the third (and final) episode of my room makeover! I finished up everything and put some final touches on the decor. I wanted this video to go up on Thursday but I kept waiting to be completely done and, unfortunately, I wasn't done by then. I'm actually still not 100% done, as you'll see at the end of the video, but I didn't want to wait for that shelf to be fixed because I don't know when that's going to happen. So, I hope you guys still enjoy it!
Episode 2 is here! Make sure you check out the first one before watching this one, or else you'll probably be a bit lost. In today's video, I started adding some new furniture, I set up my vanity, and also finally organized my bags and my closet. There's one final episode coming later this week where I finish up the rest and put the final touches on the decor. So, come back later this week to see that!
A couple of months ago, I mentioned in a video that I was moving into a new bedroom and was filming the whole process! It took a lot longer than I thought it would but now that it's finally coming to an end, I thought I would share part 1 with you guys. I've split it into three episodes or else the video would've been over an hour long but I'll be posting the other episodes later this week! So, check out episode 1 below, where I also give a little tour of my old room, which was crazy messy because I had already started going through everything but I thought you guys might want to see what it looked like. Also, I will be doing a proper room tour later, so if there's anything you see and want to know where it's from, I'll be saying it in that video and will try to link everything that's still available. Well, enjoy!
I did my first ever Boxycharm unboxing video only two weeks ago and I already received my new box! I unboxed it and saw the products for the first time on camera just like last time. However, this time, I also added a little review of the last month's products at the end of the video, so be sure to watch all the way to the end!
It's almost my birthday! On the 28th of October, I turn 28. How crazy is that? I still feel like I'm 20. Anyway, I thought I would do what I did last year and share the things that are on my birthday wishlist. Obviously, I don't expect to get all of this. They're just things that I've been wanting and, of course, if I did receive any of them I would be extremely happy! So let's get on with it!
You guys may have noticed that I didn't upload a September favorites video and that's because, honestly, I just wasn't really loving anything new. However, I did get a lot of new stuff during the month so, hopefully, next month I'll be able to film a favorites video! And now on to the stuff I got...
I finally signed up for Boxycharm and decided to open my first box on camera so you guys could see my first impressions of all the products. Check out the video below to see everything I got and to find out whether I thought the price of this makeup subscription service was worth it!
In a recent video, I mentioned that I haven't really been using heat on my hair for a few months. After my last haircut, I just didn't really feel the need to keep curling or straightening it. Before I would curl my hair almost every time I washed it and, although I do still love to do that sometimes to change it up a bit, I no longer feel that it's a necessity. The main reason for that is basically that I've just felt that my hair is healthy enough that it looks good naturally. However, there are some important products that I like to use to keep it looking healthy and a bit more polished.
As I mentioned in a previous post, I recently went to Florida for a few days and I ended up vlogging the whole time I was away, including my road trip back to NYC. If you'd like to see what I was up to, check out the video below!
Since I decided to take a little trip to Florida this week, I thought I would show you guys what I usually take in my bag. These are all the things that are essential for me while I'm on the plane!
You already know what time it is! So, let's get into my haul from this past month! If you see something you like, be sure to check out the links below. Enjoy!
Yep, it's that time again. Time for my favorites of the month! Watch the video below to see everything I was loving in August. Also, let me know in the comments what you were loving!
Throughout the years, I've accumulated quite a few sunglasses. I think they're such a fun accessory and I just love wearing them! So, I thought I'd share my sunglasses collection with you guys. I'll put links below to any online stores where they were purchased. Enjoy!
When I filmed my skincare routine video, I mentioned that I wanted to make a video about makeup for people who, like me, have oily and/or acne-prone skin. Choosing the right products are super important so you don't break out, so in today's video I'm sharing all of the ones that have worked for me!
Here are all the things I got during June and July! As always, the links to all the items mentioned will be listed below (If it's still available). Enjoy!
First of all, I am so sorry this week's video is going up late. I'm trying so hard to finish up my room while still sticking to my posting schedule but it's been really difficult. However, I just couldn't not upload a video this week. So, better late than never, right? In today's video, I'm sharing all the things I was loving in July!
There's nothing quite like watching a good tv show. That is why it has become one of my obsessions. So, when I came across this tag, I just knew I had to film it! Check out some of the shows and characters I love and some I'm just not very fond of.
If you live on planet Earth, then you have most likely heard of Pokemon GO. It's everywhere and everyone seems to be playing it. I, of course, downloaded the app the day it released since I've always been a big Pokemon fan. However, as I explained in the video, it happened to release when I was recovering from a sprained ankle. Yep, I hurt myself over a week ago and couldn't walk until a few days ago. That's why I haven't posted any videos in the last 2 weeks and only managed to post a wishlist here on the blog. Luckily, I'm feeling much better and will now return to posting as usual! So to get back to our regular schedule of posting, here's a vlog of this past weekend, where I walked around Central Park with friends to catch Pokemon. Enjoy!
